Welcome to the Montgomery County (Texas) Fire Chiefs Association Web site.
Montgomery County is located just north of Houston Texas and, according to recent Census Bureau estimates, we are the 36th fastest growing county in the US. The Montgomery County Fire Chiefs Association (MCFCA) consists of the Fire Chiefs from all 16 Fire Departments in the County. The types of departments consist of Paid, Combination, Volunteer and Industrial. The Fire Chiefs of the MCFCA are working together to provide county wide standards for the Fire Service in communications, equipment, training and reporting. If you are a visiting Fire Chief we hope this site will be helpful to you in providing resources through our standards as well as links that we have gathered.
Membership in the association is limited to the Fire Chiefs of the departments in Montgomery County. Associate Membership, or non-voting membership, is comprised of members of other emergency services in Montgomery County including the Montgomery County Fire Marshals Office, Montgomery County Hospital District, Montgomery County Sheriffs Office, EMS Dispatch Office, Fire Dispatch Office, Montgomery County 911 and Texas Forest Service. Together, we are working to better understand each others needs and to improve the Emergency Services for the citizens of the county.
