Aside from Fire and Medical responses, training is one of the main focuses of the Fire Service. Each Department in Montgomery County is responsible for their own training, but as Departments often respond together; they also train together.

The Montgomery County Fire Chiefs Association (MCFCA) supports county wide standards for the Fire Service. By encouraging and providing multi-department training opportunities and providing communications about training opportunities available to other departments we can all benefit.
